📕 Rule: 2 

If a sentence contains words like yesterday, ago, last, before, previously, in the past, long ago, back, in those days, it should be corrected according to the Past Indefinite Tense.

👉 When the subject is found by asking Who........

1. Affirmative: V2 

Example:
Karim ____ (visit) his uncle yesterday.

✅ Answer: visited

2. Negative: did not + V1

Example:
Rina ____ not (finish) her homework last night.

✅ Answer: did not finish

3. Interrogative: Did + subject + V1 + ?

Example:
_____ Hasan (call) you last night?

✅ Answer: Did Hasan call?

👉 When the subject is found by asking What/Whom.......

4. Passive: was/were + V3

Example:
